Privacy Policy
Aerovionix LLC ("Aerovionix", "we", "us") provides avionics installation, panel upgrades, engine monitoring and related aircraft maintenance services to aircraft owners at North Perry Airport (KHWO), Pembroke Pines, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect from the people we work with, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It covers this website, our email and text-message communications, and any customer portal we may offer.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, email address, mailing address and phone numbers, including a mobile number if you choose to receive text messages.
- Aircraft information: registration (N-number), make, model, serial numbers, installed equipment, and the maintenance history relevant to the work we do.
- Records and documents you send us: logbook pages, photographs, oil-analysis and other lab reports, invoices and paperwork about your aircraft, whether handed to us, emailed, or sent by text or messaging app.
- Our correspondence: the messages exchanged between you and us by email, text message or messaging app, including their date, sender and any attachments.
- Website visits: this website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. It is served through Cloudflare, whose systems process standard connection data (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
2. How we use it
- To perform, document and support maintenance and avionics work on your aircraft, and to answer your questions about it.
- To send you maintenance-due reminders for your own aircraft — for example an annual inspection, a transponder or altimeter/static-system test, or an oil change — when a due date is approaching.
- To keep the maintenance records that aviation regulations require the work we perform to be recorded in, and to give you copies of them.
- To run our business: quotes, work orders, invoicing and warranty matters.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we use it only to communicate with you about your aircraft: replies to your questions, updates about work in progress, and maintenance-due reminders. The full program terms — how to opt in, how often we message, and how to stop — are in our Terms & Conditions.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with service providers that help us deliver messages (such as a messaging carrier) is limited to what that delivery requires. All other categories of information described in this policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
4. Who we share information with
- Service providers that host our systems and deliver our messages — cloud infrastructure and storage, email delivery, and text-message carriers. They process information only to provide those services to us.
- Equipment manufacturers and vendors, only to the extent needed to perform, register or warrant work on your aircraft (for example, registering an installed unit in your name).
- Authorities, such as the Federal Aviation Administration, when a law or regulation requires it, or to respond to a lawful request.
- Other people you authorize, such as a co-owner or another maintenance provider, when you ask us to.
We never sell, rent or trade your information, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing.
5. How long we keep it
Maintenance records, and the documents and correspondence that form part of them, are kept for as long as aviation regulations and our record-keeping obligations require, and for as long as we maintain your aircraft. Contact details are kept while we have a business relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us for a copy of the records we hold about your aircraft at any time.
6. How we protect it
Information is stored with established cloud providers in the United States, encrypted in transit, and accessible only to Aerovionix personnel who need it for the work. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will tell you.
7. Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP at any time. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed.
- Email reminders: every reminder email has an unsubscribe link, and a reply saying "unsubscribe" works too.
- Access, correction and deletion: email us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Records that regulations require us to keep may be retained for the required period even after such a request.
Opting out of messages does not affect the maintenance services we provide.
8. Children
Our services and this website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email or text before it takes effect.
